Welcome to the Farm!

Welcome to our farm! It is another cold, windy day here but at least the sun is shining. It's a perfect day for making some beef stock which is what I have been working on this morning. Actually, after the initial prep, it just simmers away all day. It smells delicious and looks amazing. I'm using a recipe from Sally Fallon's Nourishing Traditions and will probably simmer it all day tomorrow too. We had gotten some grassfed beef this summer and got a bunch of soup bones and long bones to make broth with. I great way to use up everything.
